William Nuhfer Obituary


William Joseph Nuhfer, age 67 of Orlando, passed away Wednesday, June 16th, 2010 at his residence with his family by his side. Joe was born and raised in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, the son of the late William and Freeda (Hitchcock) Nuhfer.

Joe was a graduate of West Virginia University (1967) and employed as a computer systems engineer. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church , Orlando, member of Holy Family Emmaeus Group, Marriage Encounter, Former Boy Scout Leader of Troops 1155 and 8, the Jaycees and numerous professional organizations.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory, wife Roberta (Bobbie) Barrett Nuhfer of Orlando; three daughters, Gail Mercer of Orlando; Toni Papp of Manassas, Virginia; Jill Holland of Ocoee; two sons Keith William Nuhfer of Burlington, Ontario; Tim Robert Nuhfer of Manassas, Virginia; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The family will be receiving friends at Dobbs Funeral Home on Monday, June 21st from 6:00 - 8:00 PM with a Wake Service at 7:00 Pm and Tuesday, June 22nd, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 Pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic church, Orlando at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010. Interment will follow the service at Dr. Phillips Cemetery.
