Thomas Hage, Sr. Obituary

Thomas Mitchell Hage, Sr., age 71 of Clermont, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of John and Helen (Skaff) Hage and resided primarily in Orlando, Florida. Tom was a graduate of Bishop Moore High School (1959) and the University of Florida (1963). Tom was the owner/operator of Benu Service Co. and was a state general contractor and a certified tax preparer. Early in his life, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. James parish. After the birth of his children, he became a member of St. Andrews parish and was an avid youth soccer coach for 20 years. Later in his life, he moved to Clermont and attended Blessed Sacrament Church. Tom was a passionate sports fan supporting the Florida Gators, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He is preceded in death by his son, John Phillip Hage (2005). Tom leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Roxanne Hage of Jacksonville; his children: Christopher and Sandra Hage of Cincinnati, OH, Thomas Hage, Jr. and Leslie Hage of Orlando, Brad and Allison (Hage) Lehnen and Phillip and Christi Hage of Grand Rapids, MI; and 14 grandchildren. Viewing will be at St. Andrews Catholic Church on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Father Tim LaBo will lead the service. The funeral service will be at St. Andrews Catholic Church on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:00 am and conclude at Woodland Cemetery.
