It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved husband, Samuel Rice Jr., who left us on July 14, 2025.
Sam was born on March 6, 1964, in Marshallville, Georgia. He completed his training and earned his degree as an electrician. Sam was proud to work as an electrician at Walt Disney World, where he dedicated his skills to helping create magic behind the scenes.
He had a deep passion for fishing, archery, and collecting firearms, and he found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Sam is survived by his devoted wife, Alzena F. Rice; his loving parents, Lois and Samuel Rice Sr.; his sons, Andrew, Christopher, and Tracie; his daughter, Shree; several cherished grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss him dearly.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
