Sabine Jean Baptiste, 51, passed away on May 28, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. She was a hardworking woman whose life was centered around her family and especially her unique son Edouard; Loving sister to Nageley, Guerino, Glardimy and Edine; beloved wife of Lionel; She was also a beloved nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend to so very many. She was preceded in death by her parents Marie Denise and Atabe. She had a special big relationship with her in-laws Evens, Gregory, Claudelle and loved with a passion her nieces Nyelan, Gabrielle and Gladelle.

Sabine had a heart of gold and always putting people’s problems before her own. Born and raised in Haiti, She immigrated in the US in the mid-2010s. A true food lover and chef at heart, she possessed a rare, effortless culinary gift, creating magic at the stove every day. Sabine’s working career was versatile, spanning a brief nursing stint in Haiti, a period cooking in well-regarded Haitian restaurants in Orlando, and a final decade in hospitality operations for industry giants like Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World

A devout Protestant Baptist and born-again believer in Christ, Sabine was actively involved at Première Église Baptiste de Bolosse in Haiti. Later, at Première Église Baptiste Béthanie d’Orlando, she held a special place in the hearts of the pastor and his wife, and was dearly loved by the entire congregation.

Even though Sabine’s years were cut-short, she leaves behind a lifetime of memories and love that will continue to live on through all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by her family and friends

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Première Eglise Baptiste Béthanie D’Orlando, 890 N Hastings St, Orlando, FL 32808

Interment will follow immediately after the service at the Edgewood-Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka.
