Robert Anthony Reyes, 73, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on March 16, 2026.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Robert built a life defined by dedication, faith, and love for his family. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and served a meaningful career in healthcare with Orlando Health. Over the years, he contributed his talents as a respiratory therapist, in management, and in information technology, always committed to helping others and improving the lives of those around him.
Robert had a deep love for life and a vibrant spirit that was felt by everyone around him. He was active and enjoyed cycling, water skiing, volleyball, and fishing, and found great joy at the beach. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing the guitar, and singing. He had a deep appreciation for music in all forms, including the philharmonic and the opera. Known for his sense of humor, Robert brought laughter and lightness to those he loved, often lifting others with his wit and warmth. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, who were the center of his life.
His faith was the foundation of who he was. Robert was deeply devoted to his walk with God and served his church community faithfully as a mass coordinator, extraordinary Eucharistic minister, lector, and in the ministry of the sick. He lived his faith through service, compassion, and quiet strength.
Robert will be remembered as selfless, resilient, and devoted—a man who always put his family first, never gave up, and approached life with determination and a problem-solving spirit.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christine; his sons, Robert Bruce and Paul Miller; his beloved granddaughter, Isabella; and his sister, Maria Celeiro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Mario Roberto Reyes and Maria Mercedes Reyes.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 12:00 p.m.
