It is with the heaviest hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Perry Avdoyan Quinton on December 3, 2024, in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was 81 years old and born on April 30, 1943, in Orlando, Florida.
Perry was a devoted and faithful daughter, sister, mother, aunt, Nana, and friend. She lived her life through humor and laughter, always ready with a joke and a quick wit—something that earned her the title of "Most Witty" in school. She had a way of lighting up any room and left us with so many quotes that we call “Nana-isms.” Her sayings will carry on forever within her family and friends.
She had a variety of careers throughout her life and always loved the challenges of something new. She worked in real estate, accounting, and sales where she had a natural gift for business and negotiations. She traveled all over Florida selling swimsuits and beach apparel. Her last stop was retiring from the Orange County School System, where she used her incredible organizational skills.
Perry spent almost her entire life in College Park. She was an amazing cook with a special talent for making something delicious out of anything in the kitchen. She loved to entertain family and friends with large get-togethers. Of most importance, she loved her children and grandchildren, always showing up for momentous occasions throughout their lives. She also had an incredible group of lifelong friends who were so important to her. There were no bounds to what she would do for a friend. Her longest and most enduring friendships were her beloved "Ya Ya’s" , who became lifelong friends starting in elementary school, supporting each other through every joy and hardship life brought their way.
Perry is survived by her loving daughters, Dawn Marie Lowe (Rocky Dean Lowe) of Thomaston, Georgia and Lori Quinton Walls (Richard Joseph Walls) of Raleigh, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Mitchell Perry Lowe (Jerissa Lowe) of Thomaston, Georgia, Jessica Elizabeth Yovanovich (Matt Yovanovich) of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Sarah Lynn Lowe of Beaufort, South Carolina, Mariah Lee Lowe of Thomaston, Georgia, Brooke Anna Walls of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Blake Warner Walls of Raleigh, North Carolina; great grandchildren, Kacie Lowe, Jayla Lowe, Harbor Terrell and Parker Yovanovich.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Anna Avdoyan; her uncle, Samuel Barsamian; her aunts, Victoria and Rose Barsamian; her brother, Alan Avdoyan; and her son-in-law, Kenneth John Daigler.
A graveside service and celebration of Perry’s life will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will be at Dr. Phillips Cemetery, 7900 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, Fl 32819. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of this wonderful woman who touched so many lives from 1:00pm - 4:30pm at The Dubstread Tap Room, 549 W Par St, Orlando, FL 32804.
