Parbati Chinkoo, age 86, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. She was born on March 14, 1939, in Windsor Forest, Guyana.

Parbati was a devoted homemaker whose life was centered around caring for her family. She was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her children and loved ones. Her home was a place of warmth, love, and comfort, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children: Maywattie Chetram of Orlando, Rajpapi Seajattan of New York, Harry Narine Chinkoo of Miramar, Nandane Persaud of Guyana, Mohan Chinkoo of Orlando, and Nanda Darshani Gidding of Ocala; as well as her brother, Samlall of California. Parbati leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, family, and devotion.

Viewing services will be held at Dobbs Funeral Home on Monday, December 29th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, December 30th, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Cremation will take place at Metro Crematory at 10:30 a.m.

Parbati Chinkoo will be fondly remembered and forever cherished by her family and all whose lives she touched.
