With deep sadness I regret to announce the passing of our precious Mont Thurston SR.

Mont suffered a sudden cardiac arrest Monday afternoon, and we know he was welcomed promptly by Jesus, his son, brother and parents and all who are with him now.

What can be said about such a man? Mont loved life- his family and was adored by his wife Robin. Mont was funny and laughing telling jokes just hours before his passing. He so longed to go home after months of rehab, you made it home Mont!

Life will be sustained by the fact he loved the Lord ad we known he is walking, no pain and happy. And will see him again. Enjoy this Father’s Day baby. you will truly be missed as you left an impact on all who knew you.

A funeral service will be held for Mont at Dobbs Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 with a visitation at 11:00am and a service at 11:45am. Following the service, a procession will take place to Edgewood - Greenwood cemetery.
