He was born on September 11, 1949, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Guy S. Joyce and Katherine L. Daulton.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States military, serving in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. His dedication to his nation reflected a lifetime of service and commitment.

He will be laid to rest with military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
