Margaret Givens Obituary


Margaret Tiffany Givens passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 14 following her battle with severe aplastic anemia. A loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend and role model, Maggie will be missed by her family and the many friends whose lives she has touched through her journey in life. She will be remembered for her positive spirit, strength, determination, kind and generous heart, and her unmistakable bright, beautiful “Maggie” smile.An Orlando native, Maggie was born November 13, 1990. She recently graduated from Bishop Moore Catholic High School and had plans to pursue a degree in Exceptional Education. Maggie is survived by her mother Eileen O'Shea Givens, father John Givens, brother John Givens, Stepmom Anne Marie Givens, stepsister Annie Dodi, stepbrother Jordan Dodi, maternal grandmother Lillian O'Shea, paternal grandparents John and Janice Givens and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Gone far too soon, Maggie’s presence will greatly be missed. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 19 from 4-7pm followed by a funeral mass Monday, July 20 at 10am at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church 801 Hastings Avenue, Orlando, FL. Flowers may be sent to Dobbs Funeral Home, Orlando; alternatively donations may be made to St. Andrew Men's Club or Bishop Moore CHS for financial scholarships in Maggie's memory.
