Lois Renee Honeycutt, born in Warwick, Rhode Island, and a longtime resident of Orlando, Florida, passed away March 28th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and "Lolo" to many, she brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.
Lois was a woman who never met a stranger. With a radiant smile and a kind word, she welcomed everyone with her signature greeting of "baby" or "honey." Her caring spirit was evident in how she selflessly gave her time and love to those around her.
She found happiness in life's simple pleasures, from crocheting blankets and enjoying card games with her family to spending weekends treasure-hunting at garage sales. Lois was especially blessed to live close to her siblings, and they took every opportunity to gather, laugh, and make memories together. She especially delighted in caring for her grandchildren, goddaughter, and great-nephews, sharing laughter, and creating cherished memories. She also had a lifelong love for Tweety Bird and collecting memorabilia.
Her family will miss her infectious laughter, her spontaneous phone calls, and even the moments when she was set in her ways, knowing that her unwavering opinions always came from a place of love. Lois never missed an opportunity to attend her grandchildren's school activities, but she also made time for special weekends with them, gardening, or simply relaxing together watching Hallmark movies.
Lois’ passing has left an immeasurable void, but those who knew her take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her beloved daughter, Kimberly. Her faith and enduring love remind us that one day, she will greet us again with the same warmth and joy she so freely shared in life.
Friends and family are invited to attend the service at Dobbs Funeral Home. There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with the service beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday April 5, 2025.
