Karen Ann Hartzell (Kubasko) passed away to heaven on July 12, 2009. She was 31 days shy of her 51st birthday. She is preceded in death by her parents, James J. Kubasko and Joan Zimenska. She was born in Titusville, FL on August 12, 1958. She attended Saint Theresa’s Catholic School and graduated from Astronaut High School in 1976. She moved to Orlando in 1980 and was married in 1983. She was then blessed in 1984 with a beautiful child. Karen was a loving, nurturing mother and a devoted, loving wife. She loved a simple cheeseburger and fries and a cool evening of poker with friends. She loved NFL Football and the live theater, dancing, gambling in Vegas, all animals mostly cats, collecting antiques and reading a good book. She is survived by her husband Bill; daughter JoBeth; brother James Kubasko of Moosic Lake, PA.; brother-in-law Jerry Grybosh of Orlando, she is preceded in death by her best friend Beverly Grybosh; Sister-in-law Donna Balderas and mother-in-law Tommie Saucerman and her husband Jackie, 2 nephews and 5 nieces. A celebration of life is planned at the American Legion Hall, 2101 Lee Road, Orlando FL 32810 from 12 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, July 19th, 2009. “Dust off your best Hawaiian shirt and your most comfortable Bermuda shorts. No suits, No ties, No tears, No regrets. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the ASPCA or your local Humane Society. Pet your dog or Hug your cat.”
