Obituary for Julio Ubiles Sr. 

Julio, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 93. Julio was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on June 10, 1931, the son of Eulalia Tolentino and Felix Ubiles. He was employed as a machinist factory worker in New Jersey in his early life, and retired at Manheim Orlando as a driver. 

An amateur bodybuilder in his youth, Julio enjoyed working, making things by hand, spending time with friends, and celebrating special occasions with his family.  An avid baseball fan, Julio's favorite team was the New York Mets.

Julio is survived by his daughter Rosa Ubiles Acosta, son Julio Ubiles Jr and daughter Barbara Cazel; granddaughters Brenda Torres Ubiles, Lizdalia Torres Rodriguez, Rosa Torres; grandsons Caleb A. Ubiles, Sean & Ethan Cazel and 7 great-grandchildren.

An interment service will be held at 11:00am on January 18, 2025, outdoors at the Memorial Prayer Gardens at First Baptist Church of Orlando, 3000 S. John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations to Edgewood Children's Ranch in Orlando will be appreciated.
