KNOTT, Jonathan David, 41 of Orlando, passed away last week. He was born in
Winter Park, Florida on December 30, 1983. Jonathan was a passionate and loyal
son, brother and uncle to Tyler, Alyssa, James, Adeline and Danielle. He is
survived by his wife, Brittany Armstrong, his parents, Jimmy and Linda Knott, and
his siblings, Stephanie Knott Cook (Randy) and Justin Knott (Kelly). Sadly, his
brother, Jeremy Knott, passed away in 2008. They now reside in heaven together.
Jonathan was a passionate person who loved with all of his heart. He was fun uncle
Jon, and it was impossible not to smile when he entered the room. He was a
brilliant lawyer and an amazing chef.
He is now at peace with Jesus and has no more pain. He is laughing with Jeremy,
his aunt Cathy Thornton and his grandmother Dorothy Lewis “Nannie.” We relish
the day we are all together again in heaven and know that we will be rejoicing in
God’s presence.
A celebration of Jonathan’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Orlando in
the Worship Center at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made in Jonathan’s name to Liz’s Legacy Foundation at
lizlegacyfoundation.com. Arrangements entrusted to Dobbs Funeral Home (407)
578-7720 located at 430 N. Kirkman Road, Orlando, FL 32811.
