John Wayne Bass, Sr.

John Wayne Bass, Sr., age 63 of Orlando, completed his journey on earth, January 21st, 2014. He was born in Orlando, FL the son of the late Lucille (Butler) and James C. Bass. He served his country in Vietnam with the U.S. Army, was a Christian and loving father. He was employed as a construction heavy equipment operator. John leaves to cherish his memory, son John Wayne Bass, Jr.; daughters Taryn Joanne Willis, Adriann Bridget and Aaron Lucille Bass; sisters Rose Neeley, Betty Ann Griffin, Cheryl Sinclair, as well as six grandchildren and his special babies Missy and Bear.

A Memorial Service with military honors will be held at Dobbs Funeral Home at 11:30 am on Friday, January 24th, 2014 with Pastor Harvey Carpenter officiating. Interment will be at Lake Hill Cemetery at a later date.
