James Michael Gullett, 48, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.

 

Mike was the beloved husband of Keryn; devoted son of Anita; loving brother to Kevin and Tiara; proud father to James (Gina), Nazareth (Julia), Tattiyanna (Andre), Kaileyanna, Robert, and Owen; and cherished Papa to Lilliana, Kai, Azias, Harlow, and Mia. He was also a beloved nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend to so very many. 

 

Mike had a heart of gold and always put others before himself. He was known for being loving, silly, goofy, and full of life. He deeply loved his family, music, and spending time together at family get-togethers. Some of the best memories made with Mike were late-night adventures, surprise visits to family and friends, long conversations with his wife, and singing along to the radio while driving around together. 

 

He was well known and loved for serving Elyria and the surrounding communities through his hotdog stand, where he brought not only good food but kindness, laughter, and friendship to countless people.

 

Mike leaves behind a lifetime of memories and love that will continue to live on through all who knew him. He will forever be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

 

At this time, there will not be a funeral service. Plans for a celebration of life are being made for mid-July in his hometown of Cleveland, OH. With details to be shared with family and friends at a later date.
