Mr. James Rogers Bailey, 59, of Orlando. , passed away at on Friday, May 8th, 2009 at Health Central, Ocoee, FL. James was born in Yeatsville, North Carolina, the son of the late James Alfred and Violet (Cutler) Bailey. He was a US Army Veteran, member of First Baptist Church of Central Florida Orlando, and employed as a shipping clerk. James leaves to cherish his memory, wife Loretta (Newton) Bailey; two daughters, Cheryl Bailey of North Carolina; Lena Bailey of North Carolina; a son, Eric Bailey of North Carolina; two step daughters, Dina Newton of Orlando, FL; , Aretha Johnson of Orlando, FL; two step sons Winston Johnson of Orlando, FL; Andrew Johnson of Orlando, FL. two sisters, Dorothy Cobb of Jacksonville, FL; Barbara Chapman of North Carolina; a brother, Thomas Earl Bailey of North Carolina; He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Dobbs Funeral Home. Religious Service at First Baptist Church of Central Florida, Orlando, FL, at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 15th, with Pastor Clayton Cloer officiating.
