Gladys Nazario

Gladys Nazario, 77, of Windermere., passed away Thursday, June 11th, 2009 in Orlando. Gladys was born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Gustavo and Filade (Martinez) Ruiz. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and is predeceased by her husband Angel who passed away March 7, 1996. Gladys leaves to cherish her memory, four daughters, Mary Leppe of Orlando, FL; Marilyn Dixon of Louisville, KY; Maritza Burns of Long Island, NY; Rachel Pittala of Windermere, FL; a son, Jose Oquendo of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Rose Ruiz of Puerto Rico; Urania Ruiz of Puerto Rico; three brothers, Dr. Apolinar Ruiz of Puerto Rico; Dr. Gustavo Ruiz of Spain; Daniel Ruiz of Texas. and 10 grandchildren The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, June 14th, 2009 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. at Dobbs Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Orlando, FL, at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 15th, with Father Miguel Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park Orlando, FL.
