Georgina Roque Obituary

In Loving Memory of Georgina Roque Hernández

Georgina Roque Hernández, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 93.

She was born on May 17, 1932, in Pinar del Río, Cuba. Georgina lived a long and beautiful life built on love, resilience, and devotion to her family. She was a woman of incredible strength and determination, someone who worked tremendously hard, loved deeply, and gave generously to those around her.

Georgina was known for her vibrant personality. She was strong-willed, funny, caring, and wonderfully outgoing. Her laughter could brighten a room, and her kindness made people feel welcome and loved. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, never hesitating to support those who needed her.

Throughout her life, Georgina expressed her creativity and work ethic as a talented seamstress and later as a restaurant owner. She took pride in everything she did. She loved sewing, shopping, and enjoying chocolate, but nothing in the world brought her more joy than spending time with her family.

She shared a deep and enduring love with her husband, Eduardo Roque, who preceded her in death. Their bond was one of devotion and partnership, and their love remained a guiding light throughout her life.

Georgina leaves behind a family who will forever carry her love in their hearts: her children, Eduardo Roque, Pierrette Boner, and Maria Lina Santisteban; and her cherished grandchildren, Natasha, Andy, Veronica, Eddie Jr., Danny, Carlos, Jessica, and Natalie. Along with 11 beautiful great-grandchildren. She was also one of eight siblings and held a lifelong love for her brothers and sisters. Also, her sister in law, who she held near and dear to her heart, Isabel.

Georgina lived a beautiful life; one she built with courage, sacrifice, and endless love for her children and family. She loved her children with all her heart and would be proud of the lives they continue to build today.

Although our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of God and reunited with the love of her life, Eduardo Roque.

Her love, her strength, and her spirit will remain with us always. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and lovingly carried in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
