It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived that we remember and honor the passing of Dimpna Romo Catig, who went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on May 29, 1942, in Cadiz Negros Occidental, Philippines. Dimpna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose faith and love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Dimpna utilized her MBA to provide for her family, building a successful career as an Accountant. She worked for several organizations, including Tabernacle Baptist Church and Heritage Preparatory School.
Dimpna was the beloved daughter of Simon Romo and Susana Romo. She lived a life of faith, grace and resilience, always putting the needs of others above her own and providing a loving home for her family. She was a woman of prayer, a faithful servant of the Lord, and a cherished matriarch who will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and her Lord and Savior.
Dimpna was preceded by her beloved husband Rafael E. Catig, Sr, of 56 years.
