served as Team Clerk, USASTRATCOM Miami-Homestead Signal Team Air Defense. He later
pursued a career in the Banking Industry. After retiring from the Banking Industry, he
became one of First Baptist Church of Orlando’s beloved receptionists.
David Franklin Jernigan Jr was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando. He
was active in the choir, The Light and The Singing Christmas Tree events.
He became a mentor to many and was loved by all.
David Franklin Jernigan Jr’s passion was playing golf with his buddies and riding his
motorcycle. He enjoyed watching the squirrels and birds flock to his deck for feeding time.
He is survived by his sister, Judy Jernigan Cousineau; nephew, Richard Brian Vaughn
(spouse Tommy Woelful); nephew, JeƯrey Wade Vaughn (spouse Jeanette Vaughn); and his
brother, Ronald Wayne Jernigan.
