Colin C. McLean, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, was born on March 21, 1958, in Kingston, Jamaica, and passed away in August 24, 2025.
At the young age of 13, Colin and his family moved to America on November 2, 1971, where he built a beautiful life rooted in love, hard work, and faith. He attended John Hay high school before serving honorably in the United States Army from 1975 to 1976. After being honorably discharged from the Army Colin thrived in his trucking career for over 30 years.
In 1974, Colin met the love of his life, Maureen McLean, with whom he shared over 34 years of marriage. Together, they raised five wonderful children: Anthony, Shawn, Jennifer, Jamaal, and Crystal. His legacy of love and strength continues through his grandchildren—Ashley, Oriyon, Julie, Jamaal jr and Kahliyaah and his great-grandchildren, Ace and Harmony.
Colin was the son of Vivianna, and his family circle also included his uncles, cousins and extended family who held a special place in his heart.
Colin’s passions were simple but spoke volumes about who he was. He had a deep love for trucking, music, and his joy for cooking brought people together, turning meals into memories. His laughter, warmth, and generous spirit were a source of comfort to all who knew him.
Colin will be remembered not only for his devotion to his family but also for the way he made others feel—welcomed, loved, and never alone. His life was a beautiful example of strength, kindness, and unwavering love.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
