Carol Hughes (née Wilson)

Carol Hughes, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025,
at the age of 75 in Orlando, Florida.

Born on September 16, 1949, Carol lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and quiet strength.
She spent many years serving as a school secretary. Often refered to as a driving force of the
school, her warm smile and calm presence made her a comforting part of daily life for countless
students and staff mambers.

Carol had a deep and enduring faith in Jesus, which shaped every part of her life. Together with
her husband Jim, she felt a calling to serve those in need. The two of them regularly prepared and
distributed care bags filled with basic survival items and money for people experiencing
homelessness; a quiet but powerful act of compassion that touched many lives.

She also had a vibrant, spirited side. Carol loved rock music and could often be heard listening to
Aerosmith and Guns N' Roses. Her joy for life and love for music made her both grounded and
unforgettable.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband Jim, and her loving son John, who carries forward her
legacy of love, generosity, and faith.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
