Carlyle Mason, Sr.

Carlyle Mason, Sr., age 82 of Orlando, FL, passed away Sunday, December 8th, at his residence in Orlando. He was born in Grenada, West Indies, the son of the late Mary (Felix) and Frederick Mason. Carlyle moved to Central Florida from New York in 1995 and was employed as a stationary engineer for the Department of Corrections. He attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Orlando. He is predeceased by daughter Mary Rangoo (2008) and leaves to cherish his memory, wife Jane (Wilson) Mason of Orlando; four daughters, Catherine Callendar, of Trinidad, Caroline Mason, of New York, Yvette Mason, of Orlando, Joanne Mason-Ackerman, of Clermont; son, Carlyle Mason, Jr., of New York; brother, Dennis Mason, of Grenada; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Dobbs Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Harvey Carpenter officiating. Interment will be at Winter Garden Cemetery.
