Alice Christine Waldrop

Alice Christine Waldrop, age 80, of Orlando, passed away Wednesday, April 10th, 2013. Alice was born in Big Stone Gap, VA on April 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Cleo (Shelton) and Louie Reach. She was employed as a bookkeeper and member of Tabernacle Baptist Church Orlando, Super Seniors, Home League of Salvation Army, Retired RSVP Seniors Volunteer Program. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, P.J. Waldrop, of Orlando; two sisters, Anna Reach, of Georgia; and Marilyn Layman, of Virginia. The family will be receiving friends at Tabernacle Baptist Church, located at 6000 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 12:00 until 1:00p and from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the church at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 20th, with Pastor Steve Ware officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery following the service.
